The feeling
There's a moment when the alert lights up on your radar, you hit the nitro, skim the ground at full speed and make it in time to see your flag still standing. That moment is the game.
How to play
The keyboard flies and the mouse aims. There is no auto-aim: you point the ship and the crosshair where you want to hit. The nitro lasts about 4 seconds and recharges with low passes skimming the ground.
W accelerates · mouse aims · Shift nitroLand, step out of the ship, tear down the enemy flag and hold yours until it rises. The sector becomes your kingdom. Each planet has 24 sectors to conquer.
E lands · hold F
Every enemy sector has an aerial Guardian, and squadrons of fighters attack your flags. The radar warns you of every attack and gives you time to arrive on nitro. If the fight gets rough, call the mech.

Each of the 5 systems ends with a giant boss, like the Tick Colossus, with 4 phases that alternate between ship and on-foot combat. Beyond them, the road leads to the King's Moon.
