DropalooFree One-Tap Color Game

One-tap casual: colors and reflexes

Dropaloo is a one-tap game. You're a little drop of paint that hops forward, and columns of colored blocks keep coming at you, stacked from top to bottom. The blocks come in different colors, but only the ones that match the background let you through. Touch a block of another color or hit the ground, and the run is over.

The rule seems simple until the paint rain falls. When it does, the whole world is repainted in a new color, and the right block changes with it. You have to check the background again on every jump, without losing your rhythm.

The colors follow your run. It starts calm, in soft tones. Then comes focus, and then tension. When you get close to your record, everything turns gold, so you know it's time to give it your best.

Every 25 points, a surprise world appears: Hills, Forest, Kingdom, Desert and Village. Along the way, you earn medals, from Bronze to Rainbow, and coins to buy new drops in the in-game shop.

If you like Flappy Bird, Color Switch

If you like Flappy Bird or Color Switch, you'll feel right at home with the one-tap jump and the color rule. The difference is the paint rain, which repaints the world and changes the right block mid-run, plus the surprise worlds, the medals and the 12 drops to collect.

How to play

  1. Tap the screen (or click) to make the drop jump. If you don't tap, it falls.
  2. Look at the background color and find a block of the same color in each column.
  3. Go through that block. Touching a block of another color or hitting the ground ends the run.
  4. When the paint rain falls, check the new background color: the right block has changed too.
  5. Each column you get through is worth one point. At 5 points, you get your first medal.
  6. At the end of the run, your coins are added to your balance. Spend them in the shop to switch to a new drop.

Controls

  • Tap the screen or click the mouse: jump
  • Space, Enter or Up arrow: jump
  • Esc: pause or go back

Tips

  • Short, steady taps work better than lots of taps in a row. Let the drop fall a little before the next jump.
  • Pick the right block before you reach the column. Check the background color as soon as the column appears.
  • After the paint rain, take a breath: check the new color before you aim for a block.
  • If you mix up colors, look at the patterns. Each color has its own, and it's the same on the background and on the block.
  • When everything turns gold, you're close to your record. Play calmly instead of rushing.
  • The Daily challenge uses the same track for everyone and pays double coins: it's worth a try every day.
