3D legion: action and strategy

LEGIONTIDE is a 3D legion game: you lead an army down a track and pick the gates that add, multiply or change your troop type. Only the troops that go through the gate count.

What sets it apart is picking the right army for each fight. Before every clash, the enemy shows its size and what beats it: mages against swarms, archers against exploding mushrooms, giants against armored foes. At the end of the track, a giant boss is waiting, with attacks marked on the ground and a weak spot.

Between battles, you look after an island kingdom: crown your monarch, build structures that make your troops stronger and defend the wall from skeleton hordes. The kingdom keeps making gold even when the game is closed.

How to play

1. Steer the legion toward the gates that grow your army the most.
2. Squeeze the formation into a thin column to slip past hammers, saws, boulders and arrow rain.
3. Before each fight, check the enemy's strength and send in the right troops.
4. Use each class's power and the Golden Legion at the right moment.
5. In the arena, dodge the boss's attacks and hit its weak spot.
6. Take the gold back to your kingdom and power up your troops.

Controls

• Mouse: move to steer the legion
• A / D or arrow keys: steer the legion
• Hold the left mouse button (or Shift): squeeze the formation into a column
• 1, 2, 3 and 4: class powers (Shield Wall, Arrow Rain, Ground Slam, Arcane Blast)
• Space: Golden Legion (when the bar is full)
• Esc: pause
• On mobile: drag to steer, hold to squeeze the formation and tap the power buttons

Tips

• Not every gate helps: some take troops away. Check the number before you go through.
• Read the warning before each fight: it shows the enemy's size and which troop beats it.
• Shield bearers block enemy arrows. Keeping a few up front protects the rest of the legion.
• In the Mushroom Forest, archers take out the exploding mushrooms from a distance.
• Save the Golden Legion for a tough moment: your army becomes invincible for a few seconds.
• In the boss fight, every attack is marked on the ground. Get out of the marked area.
• Finish on the staircase, the gold wall or the cannon to multiply your gold.
