Nitrovenant

Action on wheels

Nitrovenant is an action game on wheels: you drive down a three-lane highway overrun by zombies. Your car fires on its own with the roof launcher. Your job is to pick the lane, jump over hazards and decide when to hit the nitro.

The machine gun and the nitro use the same blue tank, so every run comes down to a choice: clear the way by shooting, or blast through untouchable and run everything over. Bosses don't wait for the horde to pass: they fight right in the middle of it.

There are 120 levels that slowly get harder, a garage with 13 vehicles (12 cars and the Blade motorcycle) and Hell: from level 45 on, losing sends you there, and beating the Hell boss puts you back exactly where you left off.

How to play

  1. Change lanes to avoid hazards and pick your line of fire.
  2. Jump over holes, zombies and the boss's shockwave.
  3. Hold the machine gun to cut a path through the horde.
  4. When the blue tank fills up, hit the nitro: your car becomes untouchable and runs everything over.
  5. Defeat the boss at the end of the level.
  6. Use the credits from the road to buy and upgrade cars in the garage.

Controls

  • ← → arrow keys or A / D: change lanes
  • ↑, W or Space: jump
  • Hold F, S or ↓ (or hold the mouse button on the road): machine gun
  • Hold Shift (or N): nitro
  • P or Esc: pause
  • On mobile: swipe sideways to change lanes, swipe up to jump, and hold your finger on the road to shoot

Tips

  • Don't burn the whole blue tank on the machine gun: save nitro for when the screen gets packed.
  • With nitro on, your car is untouchable, so use it to get through stretches you couldn't dodge.
  • Watch for the boss's shockwave and jump at the right moment.
  • Weapon, armor and traction go up to level 8 and never go back down: upgrading your car pays off.
  • From level 10 on, a mid-road boss joins the final boss. Get your car ready first.
  • From level 45 on, losing isn't the end: beat the Hell boss and you go back to where you left off.

What's in the game
