Where 99 Nights in the Forest codes come from

99 Nights in the Forest is made by Grandma's Favourite Games, a verified Roblox group with over 12 million members, formed by three friends from New Zealand (ForyxeV, Viridial and Cracky4). It's a group survival horror game: you build a camp with your friends and try to last 99 nights in the forest. On October 4, 2026, it had passed 29 billion visits, with about 300,000 people playing at the same time during our check.

The official Roblox description doesn't list codes or links. According to the sites that track the game, codes come out on the official Discord server, which you can only read with an account, and usually arrive with updates or as an apology for bugs. afterparty, for example, was the game's first code, released after the Volcano update.

The secret chat code: yay fishing

Besides the codes in the Codes tab, sites mention a code typed into the game chat: "yay fishing". According to Destructoid and Beebom, it gives 2 Diamonds, but only after you level the campfire to 2 and fish with a rod. It's not on our list because it isn't redeemed in the code box.

How we check

Before a code goes on the list, it's checked against the official source (when the game publishes its codes) or against two independent sources. We show where each one comes from:

Official sourcepublished by the game itself or by its studio.
Confirmed by 2 sourceslisted as active by independent sources that don't copy each other.

A code with only one source, a conflicting status, or the look of a recycled list stays out. Players' "it worked" and "didn't work" votes help us quickly pull codes that have stopped working.

Official channels checked: Official 99 Nights in the Forest page on Roblox, Official Grandma's Favourite Games group on Roblox.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn't awardwinner_yay on the list?

Because only one site lists it as active (Destructoid). Here a code only gets in if it's official or confirmed as active by two independent sources, with no reliable source saying it expired. If it works for you, great: give it a try, it costs nothing.

Why didn't the code work?

Make sure you copied it exactly, with the lowercase letters and the underscore. New codes sometimes don't work on servers running the old version of the game: leave and rejoin. Each code works once per account. If it still fails, mark "didn't work" to let other players know.

What are Diamonds for?

Diamonds (formerly called Gems) unlock new classes, which change how you play in the forest. Flames change the look of the camp's campfire.

When do new codes come out?

There's no set day. According to the sites that track the game, codes are rare and usually arrive with updates, events or after some problem in the game, announced first on the official Discord.

Is there a Robux or infinite Diamonds code?

No. Codes give a few Diamonds and flames. Anyone promising Robux, infinite Diamonds or all classes in exchange for your login is running a scam. No code asks for your password.
